My background

I received my Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and earned my Master’s Degree in Communications Management from the Annenberg School of Communications at the University of Southern California. I also completed UC Berkeley Extension’s Certificate Program in College Admissions and Career Planning.

I am the co-owner of Lafayette Academy and have been a college counselor for over 17 years. I belong to two different consortiums of college counselors in the Bay Area that meet monthly, and I have traveled to over 40 states visiting over 300 hundred colleges. I'm currently a member of the following professional organizations:​

• WACAC (Western Association for College Admission Counseling)

• HECA (Higher Education Consultants Organization)

Personally, I have raised four incredible daughters in Lafayette, who had their college experiences at the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor, UC Santa Barbara, UC Berkeley, and UC Davis. Over the past 35+ years, I have been deeply involved in the community from being on the Burton Valley PTA Board of Directors, the Las Trampas Swim Team Director, and Chair of the Youth Committee and member of the Board of Directors at Temple Isaiah in Lafayette.
